Our 2 day PRINCE2 Practitioner intensive exam preparation workshop is designed to maximize your chances of passing the exam by helping you to be comfortable with the type and format of typical questions, understand what the examiner is looking for and to develop a fluent and well structured answers.

We assume that you have already passed the Foundation paper and have a strong grounding in the PRINCE2 method.

This exam preparation course combines:

• A programme of pre-course study
• An intensive exam preparation day
• Introducing an example scenario
• Answering up to six mock exam questions in exam conditions
• Reviewing their solutions and marking schemes in detail
• Providing full feedback and de-briefing session to ensure that you get the most out of each exercise
• Completing the Practitioner exam on the morning of the second day

The course is designed to maximise your chances of passing the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam on the first sitting. Naturally in order to successfully pass the Practitioner exam you will have a thorough grounding in the PRINCE2 method.

Our instructors combine excellent teaching with years of experience actually managing PRINCE2 projects and the difference is telling. The average UK Prince2 practitioner pass rate is around 60%. Adaptive Training instructors have achieved a pass rate over 90% to date.

The exercises are all mock exam questions with model answers and suggested marking schemes. Each question and its solution is discussed in detail to give you confidence that you know what is expected in the exam. Any questions are immediately highlighted and can then be discussed with your fully qualified PRINCE2 instructor.

Mock exam questions will cover topics such as:

• Developing a project business case
• Determining an appropriate project organisation structure
• Developing a product breakdown structure to assist planning
• Determining an appropriate set of project controls, including the project stage structure
• Developing workpackage specifications and supporting product descriptions
• Undertaking a project risk analysis and planning risk mitigation
• Reviewing and critiquing a project quality plan and configuration management plan

This course is relevant to all those that want to achieve the valuable recognition of the PRINCE2 practitioner qualification.

You must hold the PRINCE2 foundation qualification in order to sit the practitioner exam. In order to successfully pass the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam you will need a thorough and fresh grounding in the PRINCE2 method.

The Practitioner is the second of the two PRINCE2 Examinations you are required to pass to become a PRINCE2 Practitioner.

This level measures whether a candidate would be able to apply PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project. To this end they need to have passed the Foundation qualification, and show that they can apply and tune PRINCE2 to address the needs and problems of a specific project scenarios. Specifically, candidates must be able to:

• Produce detailed explanations of all processes, components and techniques, and worked examples of all PRINCE2 products as they might be applied to address the particular circumstances of a given project scenario.
• Show they understand the relationships between processes, components, techniques and PRINCE2 products and can apply this understanding.
• Demonstrate that they understand the reasons behind the processes, components and techniques of PRINCE2, and that they understand the principles underpinning these elements.
• Demonstrate their ability to tune PRINCE2 to different project circumstances.

The exam is a written, open-book examination of three hour duration, consisting of a scenario background and 3 questions. Each of the 3 questions is worth 50 marks, and an overall score of 75 out of a possible 150 is required to pass.
